How to use FaceTime on Android devices? FaceTime Alternatives for Android | Check here

Face-time is a video calling service provided by Apple. It is an integrated internet video and audio calling app on iOS devices like iPhone, Mac, iPad, etc. .

Interestingly, you can make a FaceTime call to one or more people (up to 32 people) at a time with the FaceTime app as long as they have a Mac or other iOS device. To make a FaceTime call, users must also be connected to the internet.

However, Android users have no way to download the FaceTime app and start their own FaceTime calls. But, with the release of iOS 15, iPadOS 15, etc., it is possible for an Apple user to send FaceTime invite links to Android users.

So here is how an Android user can join a FaceTime call on their Android devices after an Apple user sends them an invite link for the same.

Steps to Join a FaceTime Call on Android Device

Before allowing an Android user to join the FaceTime call from their Android devices, the Apple user must ‘create a link’ and select how they want to share the link: by email, messages, Snapchat, etc.

Step 1: Once the link is received, open the link in the Google Chrome browser.

2nd step: Now in Google Chrome enter your name and hit “Continue”.

Step 3: Then click on the green “Join” button in the floating pop-up window.

Step 4: After that, the Apple user has to accept the Android user’s “join request”.

Step 5: After both users entered the call, Android user can see the whole screen with buttons to mute, flip screen, full screen, show / hide camera, exit call and more.
