Genshin Impact Amakumo Peak Floor Puzzle Guide: How to Lower Water

The Amakumo Peak Floor puzzle is new in edition 2.1 of Genshin Impact and already has many puzzled players. However, Electroculus and a hidden achievement are below the surface, making it essential to access and retrieve the basement. So here we go over everything you will need to do to solve this puzzle, lower the water, and access the basement of Amakumo Peak.

Before trying to solve this puzzle, make sure you have completed the Seirai Stormchasers world quest so that the Balethunder effect surrounding the location wears off.

Begin by teleporting to the Amakumo Peak North West waypoint. On arriving, head southeast until you find the puzzle, a 3 × 3 grid of tiles. There are also a few enemies, so take care of them before you take on the challenge. If you’ve accidentally activated any tiles in combat, make sure they are all unlit before you begin.

Go through the tiles in the order above. When you complete the puzzle, do not step on other tiles, as lighting them will not allow you to complete the challenge. Also try to avoid jumping, as jumping from one tile to another can sometimes reset the activation of the one you are leaving. Once all the correct tiles are illuminated, activate the console to the right of the puzzle.

Once this is done, you will get a small cutscene and you can continue your underground adventure at Amakumo Peak. You’ll also receive an exquisite chest for your efforts, with the promise of more treasures and electroculus if you can get deeper into Amakumo Peak.
